About Your Kayak Fishing Guide, Ron Sauber

An experienced fisherman, kayaker and life-long outdoorsman, Ron is an Oregon native who spends his time pursuing the aquatic bounty the Northwest has to offer. For the last twelve years Ron and his wife have lived in Oregon City and  has worked in education for over a decade. When he’s not kayak fishing, he enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking, hunting, traveling, spending time on the Oregon coast or with their three dogs.

Ron is an advocate for education and carries with him a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science/Natural Resource Management from Oregon State University, a Masters in Education from Lewis and Clark College, and an Associates degree in Culinary Arts from Oregon Culinary Institute.
